Putnam County Common Pleas Court

July 2

Richard S. Schneider, 34, 26196 County Road R, Fort Jennings, was sentenced to 208 days in jail for violating the terms of community control. The violations included being in possession of drugs (heroin). He was placed on five years community control and given credit for time served. He was originally convicted of theft of checks.

July 6

John A. Hutchins, 50, 705 W. Indiana St., #22, Edon, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $1,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 11 a.m. Aug. 13.

July 7

Joan C. Haselman, Findlay, and Gerald R. Haselman, Leipsic, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married in Ottawa and have no children.

July 8

Diana Lawhorn, Defiance, and Shawn Lawhorn, Cloverdale, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Oct. 17, 2008 and have one child.

July 9

Bobby J. Risner, 57, 1394 Road 23A, Continental, was sentenced to 90 days jail for violating community control. The violations included using methamphetamines, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license or proper registration tags. Risner was originally convicted of possession of drugs.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

July 6

Homer J. Harmon, 43, 965 St. Johns Ave., Lima, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of criminal mischief. Sentence: 30 days jail, 28 days suspended, $100 fine. A charge of domestic violence was dismissed.

July 7

Joshua W. Blackburn, 37, 458 Highland Street West, West Mansfield, pleaded no contest to right of way/stop sign. Sentence: $150 fine. A charge of OVI two counts was dismissed.

Thomas Stocklin Jr., 63, 10035 Road 19, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to making false alarms. Sentence: 90 days jail, suspended, $100 fine, suspended.

July 9

Dawn M. Halker, 47, 212 Selhorst Drive, Ottawa, charged with domestic violence, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

Wilma J. Kelly, 54, 615 Taft Ave., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of persistent disorderly conduct. Sentence: 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $250 fine and complete mental health assessment. A charge of assault was dismissed.

Robert M. Montgomery, 56, 1398 County Road 1, Deshler, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 90 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, three-year license

suspension, complete a drug and alcohol assessment, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP.

David P. Boninsegna, Ottawa, small claims v. Jesse Bohrer, Ottawa, $3,000, plus interest and costs.

July 9

Discover Bank, New Albany, consent judgment v. Terry A. Torres, Leipsic, $4,221.27, plus interest and costs in the amount of $95.
