Mercy Health donates to Putnam County Foundation

OTTAWA — The Mercy Health Foundation-Greater Lima donated $2,000 to the Putnam County Foundation, which is focused on food insecurity and school-based mental health in Putnam County.

Mercy Health-Lima President Ronda Lehman and Sara Ambroza, interim president of the Mercy Health Foundation-Greater Lima, presented the check to the Putnam County Foundation on Tuesday afternoon as part of an internal effort by associates from Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, which selects an organization to support each month during the summer.

“The Mercy Health Foundation is here to support the many healthcare initiatives at the Medical Center, but it’s also to support community organizations who align with our goals to support the well-being in the communities we serve,” Ambroza said. “We believe the Putnam County Foundation is very well aligned with our goals and look forward to supporting them as they work to improve their communities.”
