LIMA — Allen County Commissioner Greg Sneary on Thursday spoke out in defense of the nation’s law enforcement officers.

“In these times that we’re in right now, we’ve heard a lot of negative press about police departments,” Sneary said. “And I just want to say on the other side of it is: they have a very, very tough job. We’re very proud of the job that they do. And the vast majority are outstanding individuals.”

Sneary’s comments were delivered at the end of the Allen County Commissioner’s agenda meeting on Thursday morning.
