LIMA — A juvenile was taken into custody Tuesday following a stabbing incident in Lima.
According to a spokesman for the Lima Police Department, officers were dispatched around 9:10 p.m. to the area of Eureka and McPheron streets in reference to a stabbing. Officers learned Berry Yearrell, 27, had been involved in an altercation with some juveniles and was stabbed with a knife. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
One of the juveniles was taken into custody and the incident remains under investigation, police said.
