ALLEN COUNTY

Interstate 75 between Napoleon Road and state Route 235, just south of the village of Beaverdam to three miles north of the village of Bluffton, in Allen and Hancock counties, will experience lane restrictions and ramp closures for paving and reconstruction through November 2020. Lane restrictions will occur between Napoleon Rd. and SR 235.

At SR 696 at Beaverdam traffic one lane of I-75 southbound traffic is shifted onto the northbound side of the highway.

State Route 65/Elm Street and Pine Street at their intersection in the city of Lima will close June 1 for replacement of the bridge over the Ottawa River. Completion is expected in late fall 2020. The work will be performed by Miller Brothers Construction, Archbold. Visit the project page for more information.

Eastbound detour: Central Ave. to Market St. to Bellefontaine Ave (SR 309/SR 117).

Westbound detour: Bellefontaine Ave (SR 309/ SR 117) to Market St. to S. Union St.

State Route 66 between the city of Delphos and the village of Spencerville will close June 1 for a chip seal operation. The work will be performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage.

Detour: SR 6 to U.S. 24 back to SR 66.

State Route 81 between Allentown Road and state Route 66 will have lane restrictions for paving operations. The Shelley Company, Findlay, serves as general contractor.

State Route 81 over the Ottawa River approximately two miles east of the city of Lima is closed for a bridge deck replacement through July 2020. Miller Brother Construction, Inc., Archbold, serves as the general contractor.

Sandusky Road at SR 81 will close June 8 through approximately July 10.

Detour: Detour: I-75 to SR 309 to SR 235 back to SR 81

Local detour to Proctor & Gamble:

From west, SR 81 to Roush Rd to Reservoir Rd

From east SR 81 to Thayer Rd. to Reservoir Rd.

State Route 81 from Roush Road to the Hardin County line, east of the city of Lima, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for the removal of reflective pavement markers for upcoming chip seal operations. Work is being performed the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage.

State Route 117/state Route 309 in Lima is closed at the intersection of Elm Street, Bellefontaine Avenue, and Calumet Avenue for a project to construct a roundabout. Both eastbound and westbound SR 117/SR 309 traffic are expected to be be open and traveling on the roundabout on Friday, May 22, in the afternoon.

Detour: SR 309 to I-75 south to Fourth Street to SR 65/St. Johns Road to Pine Street back to SR 117/SR 309/Elm Street.

Businesses on Bellefontaine Avenue, between the CVS pharmacy and Shawnee Street, can be accessed from the east end of the project from the intersection of Bellefontaine Avenue and Shawnee Street.

Businesses on Bellefontaine Avenue and Elm Street between Calumet Avenue and Harrison Avenue can be accessed from the west end of the project.

State Route 117 (Elm Street) between Woodlawn Avenue and Union Street, in the city of Lima, will have lane restrictions for work on sidewalk ramps. The work will be performed by Smith Paving, Norwalk.

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

I-75 between State Route 219 and US 33, nightly lane closures in both directions May 26th at 7 p.m. – May 29th at 7 a.m. for bridge repairs. Traffic will be maintained.

State Route 219 between East Street and Newcomer Lane, lane closures in both directions, June 8th at 6 a.m. – July 22nd at 5 p.m. for bridge repairs. Traffic will be maintained in both directions.

HANCOCK COUNTY

I-75 Widening and Reconstruction in the city of Findlay: The project to reconstruct and widen I-75 through the city of Findlay beginning just south of Harrison Street/County Road 144, which is just south of the U.S. Route 68/state Route 15 interchange, to the County Road 99 interchange, is entering its fourth and final year. Construction on the following ramps will continue until late fall.

I-75 northbound to U.S. 68/state Route 15

I-75 northbound to Lima Avenue

S. 68/state Route 15 to I-75 southbound

Lima Avenue to I-75 southbound

Detour: I-75 to the state Route 12 back on I-75 southbound.

Between the south end of the project to the U.S. 68/state Route 15 interchange, all four lanes will continue to travel the southbound side until late summer. Two lanes will be maintained in both directions the majority of the time.

U.S. 68 at state Route 15, south of the city of Findlay, closed March 16 for approximately four months. Ramps at the interchange will remain open. Work is being performed by Vernon Nagel, Inc., Napoleon. Visit the project page for more information.

CR 8 and CR 180 will be limited to right turns only at their intersections with SR 15. Through traffic on the county roads will not be able to cross SR 15. Traffic will not be able to turn left onto or off SR 15.

SR 15 will be maintained under the bridge. Periodic lane closures may be necessary.

S. 68 Detour:

S. 68 northbound traffic will be detoured onto SR 15 eastbound to SR 37 to SR 15 westbound back to U.S. 68.

Main Street southbound traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 68 north/SR 15 west to I-75 northbound to SR 12 to I-75 southbound back to U.S. 68.

S. 68 southbound traffic will not be impacted.

U.S. 68 within the village of Arlington

U.S. 68 from the bridge over Buck Run to just north of Wardwell Street, within the village of Arlington, will close May 4 for approximately four months for a reconstruction project.

U.S. 68 between Liberty Street and the southern corporation limit, within the village of Arlington, will close May 18 for approximately four months for a reconstruction project.

Northbound detour: U.S. 30 to SR 235 to I-75 back to U.S. 68.

Southbound detour: SR 15 to U.S. 23 to U.S. 30 back to U.S. 68.

HARDIN COUNTY

U.S. 68 resurfacing, between the city of Findlay in Hancock County and the city of Kenton in Hardin County, excluding the villages of Arlington and Dunkirk began Mar. 30. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone. Strawser Construction Inc., Columbus, serves as the general contractor. Estimated completion: Fall 2020. U.S. 68 resurfacing between Findlay and Kenton, excluding the villages of Arlington and Dunkirk, will restricted to one lane through the work zone for resurfacing. State Route 68/Detroit Street within the city of Kenton, from Harris Street to state Route 67/Epsy Street, will have lane restrictions within the work zone for resurfacing. Shelly Company, Findlay serves as the general contractor.

State Route 31/Main Street in the city of Kenton, between Letson Avenue and Franklin Street, will close March 12 for approximately four months to replace water and sewer lines. OHM Advisors, Columbus, serves as the general contractor.

Detour: SR 31 to Letson Avenue to U.S. 68/Detroit Street.

State Route 31 between the Union County line and the village of Mt. Victory will be restricted to one lane for drainage work. The work will be performed by ODOT Hardin County maintenance garage.

State Route 67 between the city of Kenton and State Route 235 will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs. Work will be performed by the ODOT Hardin County maintenance garage.

Lincoln Street/township Road 44 within the village of Ada, between Klingler Road and Union Street, will close for approximately 160 days on Apr. 20 for roadway reconstruction including storm sewer, water main, curb and gutter, and sidewalk. Southern Detour: Main Street/SR 235 to Lima Avenue/TR 50 to Klinger Road/CR 35.

Northern Detour: Main Street/SR 235 to W. North Avenue/SR 81 to Klinger Road/CR 35.

Access to Ada Medical and Diagnostic Center will be maintained at all times.

PUTNAM COUNTY

U.S. 224 from County Road 1(Hancock County Road 16) to Township Road 7 will have lane restrictions for pavement repairs at intersections. The work will be performed by the ODOT Putnam County maintenance garage.

State Route 12 between County Road 4 and County Road 5, near the village of Pandora will have lane restrictions for pavement repairs at intersections. The work will be performed by the ODOT Putnam County maintenance garage.

VAN WERT COUNTY

U.S. 30 in both directions, at U.S. 127 will have lane restrictions for pavement repairs. The work will be performed by the ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage.

State Route 81 at Thomas Road, west of Elgin, may be restricted through the work zone for a culvert replacement at the intersection. Thomas Road will be closed. The work will be performed by the ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage.

State Route 117 between SR 116 and Road T-8 will close June 1 for a culvert replacement. The work will be performed by the ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage.

Detour:S. 127 to SR 81 to SR 116 back to SR 117.

U.S. 127 between the city of Van Wert and the Mercer County line will be restricted through the work zone drainage repairs. The work will be performed by the ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage.

Jefferson Street between Main Street and Crawford Street, just south of Central Avenue in the city of Van Wert will close on May 11 for approximately 90 days for a bridge replacement. The work will be performed by Eagle Bridge Co., Sidney.

Detour: Main St. to Jefferson St. to Central Street to Washington Street to Crawford Street.
