DAYTON — Jeff Hass, of Dayton, has always been a muscle car fan. He purchased this 2012 Dodge Charger to fuel his love for muscle cars, but it also fits his family.
“I have three kids, so I needed something to fit the kids in,” Hass said.
Hass’ Charger is one of seven built in this beautiful blue color. Dodge only produced cars in this color for three months. The color is what attracted Hass in the first place.
“My favorite thing about the car is the color. It’s why I bought it,” Hass said.
Dodge produced Dodge Chargers starting in the 1966 model year. At that time, the Charger was a two-door car with a fastback body design. Throughout the years, the Charger has changed and morphed into a true car enthusiast’s dream car.
This 2012 Charger includes a 3.6 liter, six-cylinder engine.
Hass has put his own touches on his car, as most car enthusiasts do. He has lowered it, put new wheels on it, re-did the interior and had the white stripes air-brushed on.
And, not to be forgotten, he added Batman symbols to the engine. He also stages the car with a Batman holding a cut out of a Dodge Charger. It’s something his kids and others get a kick out of.
