LIMA — A Lima man was arrested after he led officers on a high-speed chase.
Barry Stevens, 54, fled from the Findlay Police on Thursday afternoon after he was suspected of activity related to trespassing and burglary. He sped away south on Interstate 75, and the pursuit was terminated because of bad weather.
Troopers from the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol saw him south of Beaverdam and attempted to stop him there. They reached speeds over 115 mph.
Allen County Sheriff’s deputies deflated one of his tires near milepost 128.
He was taken to Lima Memorial Health System for evaluation. He faces multiple felony charges.
