Suspect in Lima shooting incident taken into custody

LIMA — A suspect has been taken unto custody in connection with a shooting incident that took place Tuesday afternoon in Lima.

Lima police were dispatched at approximately 12:49 p.m. to 216 W. O’Connor Ave. in reference to a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located Lamonda Pryor, 38, at the residence. Pryor was suffering from what was believed to be a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his leg, police said. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The suspect was later identified as Cameron Rogers, 29, of Lima. Rogers was taken into custody and was charged with suspicion of felonious assault.
