WAPAKONETA — The Wapakoneta Waste Minimization Committee will host a Facebook Live program about composting at 7 p.m. Monday, May 4 on the First on the Moon Facebook page.
Jeff Stachler with the Auglaize County OSU Extension will provide information on how to reduce garbage by composting food scraps and yard waste.
In cooperation with the First on the Moon committee, the Wapakoneta Waste Minimization Committee will host a Facebook Live program about composting on Monday, May 4, 7 pm. Viewers can find the program on the First on the Moon Facebook page. The program is presented as part of the continuing spring effort for local residents, “Clean Your Crater.”
Presenter Jeff Stachler, OSU Extension—Auglaize County, will provide practical, easy-to-understand information about how to reduce garbage by composting food scraps and yard waste. Stachler is the Extension Educator, Agriculture and Natural Resources for OSU-Extension, Auglaize County. He grew up near Rossburg, Ohio, on a crop and livestock farm. He holds a Ph.D. in Weed Science from The Ohio State University. He began working for OSU-Extension for Auglaize County in March 2015.
