Fire damages Cloverdale-area home


CLOVERDALE — The Kalida Volunteer Fire Department is investigating the cause of a house fire in Putnam County’s Perry Township.

According to a news release, crews were called to 11704 Road 21, Cloverdale, just before 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

The house sustained substantial damage in the fire. No one was at home when the fire broke out, and there were no injuries.

Kalida received help from Continental, Ottoville and the Fort Jennings Fire Departments as well at the Putnam County EMS, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative.
