ALLEN COUNTY

• Interstate 75 between Napoleon Road and state Route 235: From just south of the village of Beaverdam to three miles north of the village of Bluffton, in Allen and Hancock Counties, will experience lane restrictions and ramp closures for paving and reconstruction through November 2020. NEW IMPACT

I-75 southbound entrance ramp from state Route 696 will close on Monday, April 27 for seven days.

Detour: state Route 696 to Napoleon Rd. back to I-75.

Traffic pattern through the state Route 696 interchange will change as an I-75 southbound will shift one lane onto the northbound side beginning Monday, April 27.

Lane restrictions will occur between Napoleon Road and state Route 235, the full length of the project, beginning Monday, May 4.

I-75 northbound entrance ramp from state Route 103 will close on Sunday, May 3 for two weeks.

Detour: state Route 103 to state Route 235 back to I-75.

CONTINUING IMPACTS

Lane restrictions from 7 a.m. on Monday through 7 p.m. on Friday, 24 hours a day, at the state Route 696 interchange at Beaverdam.

• Interstate 75 just south of state Route 81, in Lima, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for finish work on an earlier slope repair project on Monday for approximately four days. The work will be performed by The Beaver Excavating Company, Canton.

• Interstate 75 southbound at the Bluelick Road, exit and entrance ramps will close on Tuesday for inspection of the structures. Work will be performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage.

NEW IMPACT

Entrance ramp detour: I-75 north to Napoleon Road back to I-75 south.

Exit ramp detour: I-75 south to state Route 81 to I-75 north back to Bluelick Road.

• State Route 65/Elm Street and Pine Street at their intersection in the city of Lima will have preconstruction activities in preparation for replacement of the bridge over the Ottawa River. Work is not expected to impact traffic at this time. Closures and restrictions are expected to begin in June with completion expected in late fall 2020. Visit the project page for more information.

• State Route 81 over the Ottawa River approximately two miles east of the city of Lima will close on Monday for a bridge deck replacement through July 2020. Miller Brother Construction, Inc., Archbold, serves as the general contractor.

Detour: Detour: I-75 to state Route 309 to state Route 235 back to state Route 81

Local detour to Proctor & Gamble:

From west: state Route 81 to Roush Road to Reservoir Road.

From east: state Route 81 to Thayer Road to Reservoir Road.

State Route 117/state Route 309 in Lima is closed at the intersection of Elm Street, Bellefontaine Avenue and Calumet Avenue for a project to construct a roundabout. The project is expected to be complete in June 2020. Visit the city of Lima’s project page for more information: golima.org.

CONTINUING IMPACTS

Detour: state Route 309 to I-75 south to Fourth Street to state Route 65/St. Johns Road to Pine Street back to state Route 117/state Route 309/Elm Street.

Businesses on Bellefontaine Avenue, between the CVS pharmacy and Shawnee Street, can be accessed from the east end of the project from the intersection of Bellefontaine Avenue and Shawnee Street.

Businesses on Bellefontaine Avenue and Elm Street between Calumet Avenue and Harrison Avenue can be accessed from the west end of the project.

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

• U.S. 33 between state Route 29 and Townline-Kossuth Road, shoulder closures in both directions April 14th at 7 a.m.– April 20th at 5 p.m. Note: the US 33 westbound right shoulder on the southbound ramp to state Route 66 will be closed near the bridge. Traffic will be maintained in the area.

HANCOCK COUNTY

• I-75 Widening and Reconstruction in the city of Findlay: The project to reconstruct and widen I-75 through the city of Findlay beginning just south of Harrison Street/County Road 144, which is just south of the U.S. Route 68/state Route 15 interchange, to the county Road 99 interchange, is entering its fourth and final year. CONTINUING IMPACTS

Construction on the following ramps will continue until late fall.

I-75 northbound to U.S. 68/state Route 15

I-75 northbound to Lima Avenue

U.S. 68/state Route 15 to I-75 southbound

Lima Avenue to I-75 southbound

Detour: I-75 to the state Route 12 back on I-75 southbound.

From the south end of the project to the U.S. 68/state Route 15 interchange all four lanes will continue to travel the southbound side until late summer. Two lanes will be maintained in both directions the majority of the time.

CONTINUING IMPACTS

Lane restrictions from 7 a.m. on Monday through 7 p.m. on Friday, 24 hours a day, at the SR 696 interchange at Beaverdam.

• Interstate 75 at state Route 613: State Route 613 just west of the village of Van Buren will experience lane restrictions and I-75 ramps will have closures for concrete pavement repairs. The project begins Monday, April 6. A tentative schedule is detailed below:

NEW IMPACTS

State Route 613 just west of the Interstate 75 interchange will have intermittent restrictions beginning Wednesday, April 15, for approximately four days. One lane of traffic will be maintained as well as access to the Pilot Truck Stop and Home Depot Warehouse.

State Route 613 over I-75, between the ramps, will be closed for five days following the completion of the work listed above on approximately Friday, April 17.

Detour: SR 613 westbound to I-75 north to SR 18 to I-75 south back to SR 613.

Detour: SR 613 eastbound to I-75 south to CR 99, I-75 north, back to state Route 613.

• Interstate 75 at state Route 12, within the city of Findlay, will experience lane restrictions and a ramp will close for concrete pavement repairs. A tentative schedule is detailed below this work is set to follow that at state Route 613 listed above.

NEW IMPACTS

I-75 northbound entrance ramp from SR 12 will be close Wednesday April 22 for three days.

Detour: I-75 south to Lima Ave. to I-75 north.

State Route 12 eastbound will be reduced to one-lane at the interchange on Wednesday, April 22 for four days.

State Route 12 westbound will be reduced to one-lane at the interchange beginning Wednesday April 22 for five days.

• U.S. 68 at state Route 15, south of the city of Findlay, closed March 16 for approximately four months. Ramps on both sides of the bridge will remain open. Work is being performed by Vernon Nagel, Inc., Napoleon. Visit the project page for more information.

CONTINUING IMPACTS

County Road 8 and county Road 180 will be limited to right turns only at their intersections with state Route 15. Through traffic on the county roads will not be able to cross state Route 15. Traffic will not be able to turn left onto or off state Route 15.

• State Route 15 will be maintained under the bridge. Periodic lane closures may be necessary.

Detour: U.S. 68 northbound traffic will be detoured onto state Route 15 eastbound, to state Route 37, to state Route 15 westbound, back to U.S. 68. County Road 221/Main Street southbound traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 68 north/state Route 15 west, Interstate 75 northbound, state Route 12, Interstate 75 southbound, back to U.S. 68. See map.

U.S. 68 southbound traffic will not be impacted.

• U.S. 68 within the village of Arlington:

U.S. 68 from the bridge over Buck Run to just north of Wardwell Street, within the village of Arlington, will close May 4 for approximately four months for a reconstruction project.

U.S. 68 between Liberty Street and the southern corporation limit, within the village of Arlington, will close June 1 for approximately four months for a reconstruction project.

Northbound detour: U.S. 30 to SR 235 to I-75 back to U.S. 68

Southbound detour: SR 15 to SR 37 to U.S. 30 back to U.S. 68

• U.S. 68 resurfacing, between the city of Findlay in Hancock County and the city of Kenton in Hardin County, excluding the villages of Arlington and Dunkirk began Monday, Mar. 30. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone. Strawser Construction Inc., Columbus, serves as the general contractor.Estimated completion: Fall 2020. Visit the project page for more information.

CONTINUING IMPACTS

Traffic will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for the installation of signs followed by pavement marking and striping removal.

U.S. 68 just north of Williamstown, between county Road 304/Lincoln Highway and township Road 14 is now open following two culvert installations.

• State Route 37 between county Road 17 and township Road 191, just east of Mt. Blanchard, will close on Monday April 20 for five days for a culvert replacement. Work will be performed by the ODOT Hancock County maintenance garage.

• State Route 568 between township Road 245 and township Road 251, approximately four miles east of Findlay, will close on April 27 for five days for a culvert replacement. Work will be performed by the ODOT Hancock County maintenance garage.

HARDIN COUNTY

• U.S. 68 resurfacing, between the city of Findlay in Hancock County and the city of Kenton in Hardin County, excluding the villages of Arlington and Dunkirk, began Mar. 30. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone. Expected completion: Fall 2020. Strawser Construction Inc., Columbus, serves as the general contractor. Visit the project page for more information.

State Route 68/Detroit Street within the city of Kenton, from Harris Street to state Route 67/Epsy Street, will have lane restrictions within the work zone for resurfacing. Shelly Company, Findlay serves as the general contractor.

• State Route 31/Main Street in the city of Kenton between Letson Avenue and Franklin Street closed on March 12 for approximately four months to replace water and sewer lines. OHM Advisors, Columbus, serves as the general contractor.

CONTINUING IMPACTS

Detour: SR 31 to Letson Avenue to U.S. 68/Detroit Street.

• Lincoln Street/township Road 44, within the village of Ada, between Klingler Road and Union Street, will close for approximately 160 days on April 20 for roadway reconstruction including storm sewer, water main, curb and gutter, and sidewalk. NEW IMPACT:

Southern Detour: Main Street/SR 235 to Lima Avenue/TR 50 to Klinger Road/CR 35.

Northern Detour: Main Street/SR 235 to W. North Avenue/SR 81 to Klinger Road/CR 35.

Access to Ada Medical and Diagnostic Center will be maintained at all times.

PUTNAM COUNTY

• State Route 109 between the village of Ottawa and state Route 613 will be restricted through the work zone to remove raised reflective pavement markings in preparation for upcoming chip seal operations. Work will be performed by the ODOT Putnam County maintenance garage.

• State Route 114 between the Paulding County line and state Route 694 will be restricted through the work zone to remove raised reflective pavement markings in preparation for upcoming chip seal operations. Work will be performed by the ODOT Putnam County maintenance garage.

SHELBY COUNTY

• Park Street between Oak Avenue and North Wagner Avenue, BRIDGE CLOSURE November 21st – May 15th. The official detour is Park Street to Oak Avenue to Michigan Street to North Wagner Avenue to Park Street.

VAN WERT COUNTY

• U.S. 30 between state Route 49 and the Indiana state line will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for crack sealing operations. Work is being performed by the Van Wert County maintenance garage.

• U.S. 30 over U.S. 127 will be restricted through the work zone for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the Van Wert County maintenance garage.

• State Route 49 between Van Wert Paulding County Road/township Road 12 and Elm Sugar Grove Church Road, approximately .5 mile south of the Paulding County line, will close on April 20 for five days for culvert repair. Work will be performed by the ODOT Paulding County maintenance garage.

NEW IMPACT

Detour: U.S. 30 to CR 1 to SR 114 back to SR 49 .

• State Route 697 between SR 116 and the city of Delphos will close on May 4 for approximately five days for pavement repair. The work will be performed by the ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage.

NEW IMPACT

Detour: SR 116 to SR 81 to SR 66 back to SR 697 (see detour).
