CELINA — A Mercer County sex offender has been arrested for the second time in a month for violating reporting requirements.
Christopher J. Berogan, 29, was arrested Thursday and was taken into custody in Celina without incident, according to Sheriff Jeff Grey.
Berogan was previously arrested April 1 after it was discovered that he was living at a residence at in Celina, which was not his registered address. He was released by the Celina Municipal Court on April 8 with the conditions that he was to follow all requirements of his sex offender registration duties and also to live at 3335 Oregon Road with his parents.
Early Thursday the sheriff’s office received information that Berogan was again living at a residence on West Market Street in Celina. A charge of failure to register a change of address, a felony of the third degree, was filed in Celina Municipal Court.
Berogan is being held in the Mercer County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
