LIMA — Allen County has recorded its second COVID-19 death.
According to Allen County Public Health, the 80-year-old woman who died had underlying health conditions.
Allen County’s first death was reported April 8. He was identified as a 92-year-old man who had underlying health problems.
Allen County has now recorded 33 COVID-19 cases with 19 hospitalizations along with the two deaths.
Newly confirmed cases include one woman in her 70s, two women who are 80 or older, one man in his 30s, one man in his 60s and two men who are 80 or older.
Of the 33 confirmed cases in Allen County, 18 are women while 15 are men.
Of the 19 hospitalized, 10 are women while nine are men.
In Ohio, there are 6,604 cases (combining confirmed and probable) with 1,948 hospitalizations and 253 deaths (combining confirmed and probable).
