ArtSpace/Lima is concerned with the ongoing preventative measures that are currently being asked of everyone. Being creative is essential and art is an integral part of this community, so ArtSpace is offering a free creative pursuit for all as we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation.
Wednesday, April 1st, ArtSpace/Lima will have “Plein Air Watercolor TO-GO” bags. ‘Plein Air’ refers to full air, or painting outside. ArtSpace is encouraging artists to use the TO-GO art bags to paint their surroundings. The bags will include a backing board, watercolor paper, watercolor paints and brush.
All paintings done during the ‘Shelter at Home’ period will be eligible for a display held at ArtSpace at a later date.
The Plein Air Watercolor TO-GO bags can be picked up on Wednesday, April 1st at two locations - The Meeting Place on Market from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, and The Met from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
