Feb. 21

Gary R. Snodgrass, 42, 410 N. West St., Lima, was sentenced to 14 days jail for violating standards of community control. The violations include failing to make child support payments, failing to provide proof of seeking employment or obtaining employment and failing to pay court costs. He was placed on five years community control, must obtain and maintain employment and complete all counseling and treatment recommended. He was originally convicted of felony non-support.

Feb. 24

Todd J. Rode, 20, 20914 Road 20 S, Fort Jennings, was sentenced to five years community control for aggravated possession of drugs (THC). He must obtain and maintain employment and complete any counseling and treatment recommended.

Richard S. Schneider, 33, 26196 Road R, Fort Jennings, admitted to violating the term of supervision. The violations included possessing drugs (heroin) and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Sentencing was set for 1:30 p.m. May 21. He was originally convicted of theft of checks.

Feb. 25

Emilleo Guerra, 24, 811B Sherman St., Pandora, was sentenced to five years community control for possession of cocaine. He must obtain and maintain employment and complete all counseling and treatment recommended.

Dwayne Watts, 11356 Road 16K, Ottawa, was sentenced to 30 days jail for failing to pay child support. He was given credit for any jail time served since his arrest on Feb. 11, 2020.

Gabriel Mata, 39, 8753 Road O, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to two counts telecommunication harassment. He faces up to 12 months in prison on each count and $2,500 in fines on each count. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 10:30 a.m. April 2. Another count was dismissed.

Feb. 27

David J. Engard, 34, 5 E. Sugar St., Leipsic, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for failure to register. He was given credit for one day served and any additional days while awaiting transfer.

Olivia A. Johnson, 36, 50 Estep Branch, Garrett, Ky., was sentenced to six months in prison for attempted aggravated possession trafficking in drugs. She was given credit for 104 days served and any additional days while awaiting transfer.

Dylan M. Palmer, 18, 501 Sugar St., Continental, was given an additional six days credit off his jail sentence for work performed at the Putnam County Adult Detention facility. He was convicted of attempted failure to give notice of residence address change.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

Feb. 21

Ronnie R. Ramos, 48, 288 County Road 16, New Bavaria, pleaded guilty to domestic violence. Sentence: 180 days jail, 145 days suspended, fined $150, and complete mental health assessment. He also pleaded guilty to criminal damaging. Sentence: 90 days jail, 55 days suspended, $100 fine, $1,000 restitution, with sentence to be served concurrent. Another charge of domestic violence was dismissed.

Feb. 24

Kaitlynne R. Bartlett, 24, 445 S. Oak St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to endangering children. Sentence: 180 days jail, 135 days suspended, complete mental health assessment and comply with all JFS case plans.

Adam L. Morman, 38, 11281Ottawa Drive, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension license forfeiture. Sentence: $250 fine and court costs.

Feb. 25

Roger O. Phillips, 63, 12630 Road C-12, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. He was ordered to pay court costs for failure to dim headlights.

Feb. 26

Michael A. Rooney, 38, 1901 Broad Ave., Findlay, pleaded guilty assault. Sentence: 180 days jail, 176 days suspended, $150 fine, and no contact with victim for two years.
