Lima police identify suspect in Harry’s Hideaway shooting

LIMA — Lima police have identified a suspect in the shooting Saturday evening at Harry’s Hideaway, located at 1452 N. Cable Road.

Stephen Snyder, 39, of Lima, was shot in the leg and was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Police said the business and two cars were also struck by gunfire.

The suspect in the shooting has been identified as Oliver Gene Jackson Jr., a 48-year-old black male who stands 5-foot-11 tall and weighs 220 pounds. An active warrant has been issued for Jackson’s arrest on a charge of felonious assault.
