The event is the fifth stop on a small town listening tour organized by John Russell, the Warren campaign’s Rural Outreach Coordinator in Ohio. These events are an opportunity for the campaign to hear directly from voters in small towns across Ohio — and for Ohioans to learn more about Elizabeth and sign up to take action with the campaign.
“Voters everywhere deserve to be heard, and our campaign is committed to visiting every corner of the state to learn what’s on their minds,” Russell said. “Elizabeth Warren has a plan to rebuild the middle class and create economic opportunity no matter where you live, but we know that big, structural change starts with a conversation.”
Elizabeth has released plans to invest in green manufacturing, tackle addiction, increase benefits and extend the solvency of Social Security, root out corruption in Washington, and invest in rural America, among many other issues. Taken together, her plans would help create good-paying jobs, fight climate change, and improve quality of life in small towns and rural places across America.
The Lima roundtable event will be conducted by Russell. Everyone is welcome and attendees are encouraged to join the conversation and provide input to the Warren campaign.
To RSVP to the event, text or call John Russell at 614-233-1433, or sign up online at https://www.mobilize.us/ohioforwarren/event/240905/.
