LIMA — The Lima Senior High School Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) meeting set for Feb. 26 has been moved to 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at the high school, 1 Spartan Way, Lima.
There will be computers available and representatives from area colleges and universities on hand for assistance. Those attending should bring their 2018 Federal Tax Returns for parents and students, 2018 W-2s for parents and students, driver’s license, Social Security number, bank account balances and investments and any other untaxed income such as child support.
For information on the FAFSA or meetings, call 419-996-3043. The meetings are for LCS senior students only.
The FAFSA determines a student’s eligibility for need-based federal financial aid for college, which may include grants, scholarships, work-study and loans. It is required to receive aid.
Students considering a two or four-year college or trade school should complete the FAFSA. There is no cost to complete.
The meetings are part of the Ohio Mayor’s Education Advocacy Grant the City of Lima received on behalf of the school district.
