For more information, visit the event Facebook site.
Our beloved Jan Osborn passed on September 5th. Jan was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who touched the lives of so many around her. She was the daughter of Larry Eichner who survives in West Unity, Ohio and the late Barbara (Vaughan) Eichner.
She also leaves behind her husband, Steve, and their five children, Kevin Lee (LeAnne) Osborn of Van Wert, Keli Pontius of Convoy, Kalena Osborn of Van Wert, Roman D. (Katlyn) Osborn of Van Wert, and Kody Osborn at home; six grandchildren, Breonna Pontius, Alivia Pontius, Madison Murphy, Veronica Osborn, Elijah Taylor, and Emmitt Osborn; a sister, Sandra (Guenter) Denninger of Pittsford, Michigan; a step-sister Toni Mitchell of Bryan, Ohio; her mother-in-law, Helen Kreischer of Van Wert; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jan dedicated her life to her family and their family business. She performed all of the business’s managerial duties along with manual labor. Jan was also able to find time to volunteer for local events and was very community oriented.
We are all devastated by Jan’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Jan the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory with a “celebration of her life” event and benefit.
We will be having the benefit in Ohio City at their Community Building on Saturday, January 25th. We will have a silent auction throughout the day and food will also be available. There will also be a 50/50 drawing, a gun raffle for a Henry Goldenboy, and many other activities. There will be music provided by the local band: Crimson Angel and regional band: Wanted.
