Three arrested following task force drug search in Kenton


KENTON — Three people were arrested Wednesday in Kenton following the execution of a search warrant by the Hardin County Crime Task Force.

According to Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart, the warrant was served at 41 Champion Court, Kenton, after an investigation into the sale of narcotics at that location. Narcotics and drug paraphernalia were seized from the residence during the execution of the warrant. One male was arrested for trafficking in drugs, and another male and a female were arrested for outstanding warrants.

The Hardin County Special Response Team, Kenton Police Department, Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, Hardin County Prosecutor’s Office and Children Services assisted the task force. More charges are pending, and the investigation continues.
