‘Angry’ customer allegedly threatened Spectrum employees


LIMA – Detectives from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating an incident involving an angry customer who reportedly threatened to “shoot up” the Spectrum Cable business on Elida Road.

Employees from Spectrum contacted the sheriff’s office at approximately 4 p.m. Friday after the subject made the threat two separate times as he was leaving the office.

Deputies interviewed the man at his residence and he reportedly stated that he had no intention of hurting anyone and that the employees misunderstood him.

No arrest was made and no charges have been filed as the investigation continues.
