LIMA — The manager of a Lima fast-food restaurant was robbed at gunpoint early Monday as she attempted to make a deposit at a downtown Lima bank.

According to a report from the Lima Police Department, the manager of Burger King restaurant, who was not named, was attempting to drop off a deposit at the Chase Bank at 121 W. High St. at approximately 4:30 a.m. Monday when she was approached by a black male.

The subject, who was described as approximately 5-foot-10 with a medium build and a deep voice, reportedly brandished an all-black firearm which was pointed toward the ground.
