Beaverdam man treated following two-vehicle accident in Findlay


FINDLAY – A Beaverdam man was treated for non life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle traffic accident Thursday morning in Findlay.

According to a report from the Findlay Police Department, a vehicle driven by Dale Giannetto, 39, of Findlay, was stopped at a traffic light on West Front Street at South Main Street. A pickup truck driven by Michael Warner, 37, of Beaverdam, was eastbound on Front Street and failed to stop, striking the rear of the Giannetto vehicle, which then caught fire. The Findlay Fire Department extinguished the blaze.

Warner, who was taken by a private vehicle to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment, was cited for an assured clear distance violation.
