Elida bus involved in fender bender Tuesday


AMERICAN TOWNSHIP — The Lima post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash involving an Elida school bus.

American Township Fire and EMS were called to Kimberly near Deerfield drives at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday.

The bus was operated by Keena Mosley, 47, of Lima.

The driver of the vehicle that was struck by the bus was identified as Isaiah Jackson, 16, also of Lima.

According to a news release, the bus was eastbound on Deerfield Drive and went left of center, striking Jackson’s vehicle.

Mosely told troopers she was looking at her passengers in the rearview mirror just prior to the crash.

There was only minor damage to the bus.

There were 32 students on the bus. No one was hurt.
