LIMA — A Lima teenager indicted on charges of aggravated robbery with a firearm pleaded guilty to reduced charges during an appearance Monday in Allen County Common Pleas Court.
Kirk Brenneman, 19, accepted a deal from prosecutors that called for him to plead guilty to an amended count of robbery, a second-degree felony that carries a three-year specification for the use of a firearm during the commission of the crime.
Brenneman, 19, was arrested in late September and charged with suspicion of aggravated robbery in connection with the robbery at gunpoint of a video gaming system and cellular phone at a Fourth Street apartment. The men were at the apartment when a female arrived to conduct a purchase that originated through the website LetGo.com, police said.
Brenneman will be sentenced in February and faces up to seven years in prison at that time.
