Bomb squad called to examine bag at Findlay’s Marathon

FINDLAY — The Allen County Bomb Squad responded to a suspicious bag left at Marathon Petroleum Corp. on Tuesday night.

Marathon security staff reported a book bag left in a caged-up area in a parking garage at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday.

The City of Findlay Police Department obtained video surveillance of Nicholas Muntzing, 28, of Findlay, leaving the bag. The circumstances surrounding the bag and Muntzing were deemed suspicious.

The bomb squad was called to examine the bag with a robot and found clothing. Charges are pending in the case, and Muntzing has been warned not to return to Marathon property.
