Fire damages vacant Lima house

LIMA — Lima Fire investigators are looking for the cause of a fire that broke out Sunday afternoon on the city’s north side.

The fire, at 662 N. Elizabeth St., was called in at 3:40 p.m. It’s believed the fire started on the first floor and went up the stairs into the second floor.

The house, which was vacant, suffered a loss of $32,400. Crews were on the scene for just less than two hours.

No one was injured.
