LIMA — A 28-year-old Lima man was taken into custody Tuesday on drug-related charges following a SWAT team raid.
The West Central Ohio Crime Task Force, with the assistance of the Allen County Sheriff’s Office S.W.A.T. Team, executed a search warrant at 829 Michael Ave., Lima, and during a search of the residence found drug paraphernalia, approximately 30 grams of suspected fentanyl/heroin and approximately 20 grams of suspected cocaine.
Eric Banks was taken into custody at the scene for suspicion of possession of cocaine, a second-degree felony, and was transported to the Allen County Jail.
Additional charges expected to be presented to the Allen County Grand Jury at a later date, according to a spokesman with the sheriff’s office.
