Bluffton University presenting 124th ‘Messiah’

BLUFFTON — Bluffton University will present its 124th performance of Handel’s “Messiah” at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, in Yoder Recital Hall, 1 University Drive, Bluffton.

Tickets are free, but seats must be reserved at tickets.bluffton.edu or at the Marbeck Center. It will also be streamed at bluffton.edu/messiah.

Dr. Bo Young Kang, director of choral activities, will conduct the oratorio. Soloists along with the Bluffton Choral Society including students, faculty, staff and community members will be accompanied by an orchestra. Audience members are invited to bring their score to sing along on two of the major choruses—“Glory to God” and “Hallelujah Chorus.”

Soloists are Hannah Lee, soprano; Rhy-Kyung Kim, mezzo; Benjamin Bunsold, tenor; and Robert Kerr, bass.
