Suspect sought in robbery of Dollar General store in Lima

LIMA — Lima police are seeking the public’s assistance is locating the person who robbed a Dollar General store on South Main Street early Wednesday evening.

According to a statement from the Lima Police Department, at approximately 6:30 p.m. officers responded to the store, 691 S. Main St., in reference to an armed robbery. An unknown black male suspect reportedly entered the business brandishing a firearm and ordered employees to open the cash register. After obtaining an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect fled in an unknown direction.
