The play is based on the 2004 novel Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson and provides a backstory for the characters of Peter Pan, Mrs. Darling, Tinker Bell and Hook.

It’s an adventure on the high seas and on the far-away Mollusk Island. An orphan boy named Peter and his mysterious new friend, Molly, overcome bands of pirates and thieves in their quest to keep a magical secret safe and save the world from evil.
