Area counties lift Level 1 snow alerts

LIMA — Monday night’s snowfall led area sheriffs to declare snow advisory levels, but they’ve been lifted by Tuesday afternoon.

Allen County Sheriff Matt Treglia lifted a Level 1 snow advisory at 6 a.m. Tuesday after declaring it at 7:10 p.m. Monday. Roads could remain snow or ice-covered, so caution was still urged.

Putnam County Sheriff Brian Siefker lifted a Level 1 snow advisory at 10 a.m. Tuesday after declaring it at 7 p.m. Monday. Putnam County roadways were snow-covered and icy, so people should drive carefully.

Hancock County Sheriff Michael Heldman’s Level 1 road alert ended at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday after being declared at 7:10 p.m. Monday.

Auglaize County Sherif Al Solomon doesn’t typically declare snow level alerts.
