ALLEN COUNTY

Interstate 75 southbound between state Route 81 and state Route 309, in the city of Lima, will be restricted to one lane for two days to set up the work zone for slope repair. Lane restrictions will occur during both day and nighttime hours, with the exception of 2-6 p.m. both days. The shoulder will be closed for the repairs for approximately four weeks.

Interstate 75 southbound, south of state Route 65, Lima, will be restricted to one lane on Tuesday, Nov. 5 from 6 a.m. to noon for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.

Interstate 75 at state Route 65, Lima, will experience shoulder closures in each direction through the work zone for erosion repair at the interchange. All ramps at the interchange and all four lanes of Interstate 75 are expected to be maintained throughout the project. Work is being performed by Miller Contracting Group, Inc., Ottoville.

U.S. 30 at state Route 696, Beaverdam, and at Bentley Road will be restricted to one lane in each direction through the work zone for erosion repair. All ramps at state Route 696 are expected to be maintained throughout the project. Work is being performed by Miller Contracting Group, Inc., Ottoville.

State Route 103 (Jefferson Street) over Riley Creek, between Huber Street and Vance Street within the village of Bluffton, closed Monday, July 1, for approximately four months for a bridge replacement. The closure is located within a larger active work zone for a village water line replacement project, which is already underway between county Road 15 (County Line Road) and Main Street. Local access is maintained throughout the village’s work zone, but traffic is unable to cross the bridge during the ODOT bridge replacement project. Traffic is detoured onto county Road 15 (County Line Road) and Main Street back to Jefferson Street. The bridge replacement project is being performed by Eagle Bridge Company, Sidney.

State Route 117 between Bowman Road in Allen County and the Hardin County line in Auglaize County, excluding the community of Westminster, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement resurfacing. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.

State Route 117 between Eastown Road and the village of Spencerville will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage.

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

State Route 219 between state Route 66A and Tri Township Road, road closure Nov. 4-8. The official detour is: Westbound: state Route 66 south to state Route 274 west to state Route 364 north to state Route 219. Eastbound: state Route 364 south to state Route 274 east to state Route 66 north to state Route 219.

HANCOCK COUNTY

U.S. 68/state Route 15 traffic will begin travelling on the new bridge over Lima Avenue as early as Friday, Nov. 1. U.S. 68/state Route 15 through traffic is expected to be shifted off temporary pavement and onto the new bridge over Lima Avenue on Friday, Nov. 1. The traffic switch onto the new bridge will allow for additional work on the Lima Avenue roundabout to occur below.

Lima Avenue will remain closed to through traffic through December 2019. The four ramps at the Lima Avenue interchange will remain open after the traffic switch, but they may be closed temporarily for a short time during the traffic switch.

Interstate 75 in both directions between state Route 12 and county Road 99 will have lane restrictions for finish work. Beaver Construction, Canton, serves as the general contractor for the project.

Lima Avenue ramp to U.S. 68/state Route 15 southbound will close on November 6 for two days to complete pavement on the shoulder of the ramp. Traffic will be detoured on to county Road 9, state Route 12, Interstate 75 and onto U.S. 68/state Route 15.

HARDIN COUNTY

U.S. 68 between county Road 60 and state Route 701, south of the village of Dunkirk, will close Monday, Nov. 4 for approximately ten days for a culvert replacement. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 81, state Route 235, state Route 309, and state Route 701 back to U.S. 68.(see map) Work is being performed by the ODOT Hardin County maintenance garage.

PUTNAM COUNTY

State Route 189 between county Road 18-R and township Road 17-S, near Vaughnsville, will close on Monday, Oct. 28 for approximately 10 days for the replacement of a culvert. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 634, U.S. 224, state Route 115 and back to state Route 189.(see map) Work is being performed by the ODOT Putnam County maintenance garage.
