CRIDERSVILLE — A Springfield man escaped serious injury after his pickup truck traveled off Interstate 75 and overturned Wednesday evening.
According to a report from the Wapakoneta post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Joshua Woods Sr., 33, was southbound on I-75 and was cut off by a vehicle that was entering the interstate from the National Road exit ramp. Woods drove off the left side of the roadway to avoid a collision, according to the report, and his truck overturned. The driver of the other vehicle did not stop.
Woods was not seriously injured, but alcohol was suspected as a factor in the incident, according to the patrol.
