Gas station targeted in Sunday morning armed robbery

LIMA — Lima police are investigating a Sunday morning armed robbery of the Rich Gas station, 792 N. Main Street.

The incident happened at 6:07 a.m. when a thief pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money in the cash register. He fled with an unknown amount of cash.

The suspect is said to be a black man about six-foot tall and 180 pounds. He was seen wearing blue jeans, a dark hooded sweatshirt and a Michigan stocking cap.
