LIMA — The Ohio Department of Transportation’s District 1 is seeking public comments on several projects it is considering.
In Allen County, ODOT is considering rehabilitating Lincoln Highway from Menke Street on the west side of Delphos in Van Wert County to Lehman Road on the east side of Delphos in Allen County.
ODOT is also considering ADA compliant sidewalks and curb ramps in the village of Lafayette along the south side of Main Street from High Street to the junction with Sugar Street, and along Sugar Street from High Street to the junction with Main Street.
ODOT is also planning a similar project in Beaverdam. This will affect various locations along East Main Street, West Street, Pearl Street, Mill Street, Prospect Street and Lima Street.
ODOT also plans to rebuild the pavement on U.S. 30 from the junction with Fifth Street/Lincoln Highway to the bridge structure over a railroad just south of the village of Cairo.
In Putnam County, ODOT is looking at bridge replacement over state Route 65 over Bernard Weis Ditch.
It is also looking at making intersection safety improvements on state Route 65 and county Road 7, northeast of Ottawa.
In Van Wert County, ODOT is proposing to rehabilitate Grill Road, Kear Road and Bonewitz Avenue on the northwest side of Van Wert.
ODOT also wants to rebuild the pavement on U.S. 30 under the U.S. 224 bridge northwest of Van Wert.
ODOT is also looking at widening the existing concrete path through Smiley Park and pave the existing Rotary Soccer Park Trail in Van Wert.
It also wants to pave the parking lot at the Rotary Athletic Complex.
