Defendants sentenced in Allen County courtrooms


LIMA — The following defendants were sentenced recently in Allen County Common Pleas Court:

Tyler Bowen, 31, of Lima, was sentenced to two years on probation on a charge of having a weapon while under disability.

Darquavious Matthews, 24, of Lima, was sentenced to four years of prison on charges of burglary, attempted felonious assault, trafficking in cocaine and possession of cocaine.

Paul Polutnik, 65, of Lima, was sentenced to two years on probation for the improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle. The firearm in question was ordered to be forfeited to the Lima Police Department.

Jeremy Calhoun, 32, of Lima, was sentenced to three years on probation for the possession of cocaine.

Andrew Block, 32, of Lima, was sentenced to three years in prison on charges of burglary and grand theft of a motor vehicle. He was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $1,205.65 to the victim in the case.

Derek Kitchen, 27, of Coldwater, was sentenced to three years on probation on an amended count of trafficking a fentanyl-related compound.

Chad Hughes, 42, of Lima, was sentenced to two years on probation on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs.

Robert Shaffer, 36, of Lima, was sentenced to two years on probation for the aggravated possession of drugs.

Kelsey Pakkidis, 26, homeless, was sentenced to three years on probation and seven days in the county jail on charges of burglary and vandalism. He was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $3,014 to the victim in the case.
