LIMA — A 22-year-old Lima woman was taken into custody following the execution of a search warrant at a Leland Avenue home on Wednesday.

The West Central Ohio Crime Task Force, assisted by the Allen and Auglaize County SWAT teams, served the drug-related search warrant at 949 Leland Ave. During the course of the search, drug paraphernalia, a firearm, U.S. currency and a large quantity of suspected crack cocaine was located, according to a statement issued by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office.

Daysha Lane was taken into custody at the scene and booked into the Allen County Jail on the charge of possession of cocaine, a felony of the first degree. The investigation is ongoing, and further charges are expected to be presented to an Allen County Grand Jury at a later date, officials said.
