LIMA — The Allen County Republican Luncheon will be at noon Friday, Oct. 4, at the Eagles Lodge, 800 W. Robb Ave., Lima.
The speaker will be State Senator Rob McColley.

State Senator Rob McColley was appointed to the Ohio Senate in December 2017. Senator McColley is from Napoleon Ohio. He represents the 1st Senate District, an area that surrounds Allen County and that includes: Defiance, Hancock, Hardin, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert, and Williams Counties, and parts of Auglaize, Fulton and Logan Counties.
Prior to becoming a State Senator, Rob McColley was the State Representative for the 81st House District. During his time as a Representative, Mr. McColley served in the leadership as the Assistant Majority Whip. He is a former trustee of the Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial in Sunbury, Ohio, that honors the men and women from Ohio who have died in the War on Terror.
In the current General Assembly, Senator McColley chairs the Transportation, Commerce and Workforce Committee. He also serves on numerous other committees including the Government Oversight and Reform Committee, the Agriculture and Natural Resource Committee, and the Higher Education Committee.
Senator McColley is a graduate of The Ohio State University and the University of Toledo Law School. He and his wife, Denise, live in Napoleon with their daughter, Anna and their twin boys, Matthew and Michael.
