Putnam County Health Department offering walk-in flu vaccines


Walk-in influenza vaccines: 6 to 10 a.m., Ottawa-Glandorf High School, 630 Glendale Ave., Ottawa. Kiwanis Health Fair.

OTTAWA — The Putnam County Health Department will host an influenza vaccination clinic from 6 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Kiwanis Health Fair at Ottawa-Glandorf High School, 630 Glendale Ave., Ottawa.

Vaccines will be available on a walk-in basis.

The department bills most major insurance companies for vaccines, including Medicare and Medicaid, so there may not be any cost. If it is not covered by your insurance, or you have no insurance, cost is $10 for those 18 years and younger or $34 for those age 19 and above.

The influenza vaccination clinics that are open to the public include:

· September 23, 9:00 – 11:30 AM and 1:00 – 3:30 PM at the Ottawa Senior Center

· September 26, 9:00 – 12:00 PM & 1:00-4:00 PM at the Putnam County Health Department

· Oct. 4, 9:00 AM -Noon at Columbus Grove VFW

· Oct. 4, 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the Pandora First National Bank

· Oct. 12, 6:00 -10:00 AM at the Kiwanis Health Fair at Ottawa-Glandorf High School

· Oct. 17, 2:00-5:00 PM at the Meadows of Kalida
