City Council President forum set


President of Lima City Council candidates public forum: 7 to 8:30 p.m., St. Luke’s Lutheran Fellowship Hall, 209 W. North St., Lima. With Josiah Mathews and John Nixon.

LIMA — Lima/Allen County Neighborhoods In Partnership will host a community forum featuring President of Lima City Council candidates Josiah Mathews and John Nixon from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Fellowship Hall, 209 W. North St., Lima.

Each candidate can emphasize neighborhood concerns and other issues. Written questions can be submitted by citizens. The event is free and open to the public.

7 to 8:30 p.m.,St. Luke’s Lutheran Fellowship Hall, 209 W. North Street, Lima. Candidates: Josiah Mathews and John Nixon

October 1, 2019 — Fourth Ward Lima City Council

6 to 7:30 p.m., LACNIP Resource Center, 1440 W. Spring Street, Lima. Candidates: Peggy Ehora and Rebecca Kreher

October 8, 2019 — Sixth Ward Lima City Council

7 to 8:30 p.m., Lima Towers, 790 South Main Street, Lima. Candidates: Derry Glenn and Clevon Jones

October 15, 2019 — Second Ward Lima City Council

7 to 8:30 p.m., St. Mark’s Methodist, Fellowship Hall, 1110 N. Metcalf Street, Lima. Candidates: Sam McLean and Tony Wilkerson
