Perpetrators forcibly enter Lima residence, rob homeowner at gunpoint

LIMA — Lima police are looking for two males who robbed a Franklin Street resident at gunpoint late Sunday evening.

Detective Sean Neidemire said the perpetrators forcibly entered the home at 912 E. Franklin St. shortly before midnight Sunday and assaulted Joseph Calim, 68. Calim was treated and released at Lima Memorial Health System.

Neidemire said the robbers stole two guns — a Browning .22 caliber long rifle and a Sig Sauer 9mm pistol — along with several boxes of ammunition before fleeing the scene.
