Bluffton University hosting forum on stop-and-frisk policy


Forum: 11 a.m., Yoder Hall, Bluffton University. “The Policy of Stop-and-Frisk and its Impact on American Civil Liberties and the Right to Privacy.”

BLUFFTON — The forum “The Policy of Stop-and-Frisk and its Impact on American Civil Liberties and the Right to Privacy” will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, in Bluffton University’s Yoder Recital Hall.

Sean E. Leuthold, Common Pleas Court Judge of Crawford County, and Shane M. Leuthold, Municipal Court Judge of Crawford County, will discuss the background, expansion and future implications of the stop-and-frisk policy, particularly how it can lead to unconstitutional racial and ethnic profiling.
