LIMA — An arrest warrant was filed Aug. 29 in Lima Municipal Court in connection with an unsolved 2017 homicide that took place in Lima.

Detective Sean Neidemire of the Lima Police Department said Friday that new information recently came to the attention of police that led to the filing of a probable cause affidavit for the arrest of Marquez Pritchett.

The 33-year-old Pritchett, whose last known address was Lima, is wanted in connection with the shooting of Shannon Scott, who was found dead in the living room of his residence at 621 Michael St., Lima, on June 11, 2017.

“We hadn’t had any new developments in the case for quite a while until recent developments led us in (Pritchett’s) direction,” Neidemire said. “We’ve not heard anything about his whereabouts for quite some time now.”

Pritchett is a 5-foot-7, 145-pound black male with brown eyes and black hair. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 419-221-5295.
