Nieto was arrested along with Thomas D. Miles, 19, 102 Heldman St., Jenera, and Mike Pardo III, 22, 25 Vine St., Apt. 10, Leipsic, after robbing a Leipsic restaurant last May. According to a Leipsic Police Department, a subject entered the Mi Familia Restaurant, 131 E. Main St., Leipsic, at approximately 7:30 p.m. May 21. The subject removed the cash drawer from the cash register and was chased by the manager. The subject was able to drive away and Leipsic Police Officer Scott Harshman intercepted the car on Road 5. The pursuit ended when, jostled by repeated bumps, the airbags in the suspects’ vehicle deployed and the car crashed in a field in Henry County. Harshman and personnel from the Putnam and Henry county sheriff offices took the three men into custody and transported them to the Putnam County Jail.
