Road construction and maintenance projects

ALLEN COUNTY

Interstate 75 between the Stewart Road overpass and Napoleon Road, between the city of Lima and the village of Beaverdam, will be restricted to one lane in both directions for a pavement resurfacing project. The project also includes repairs on the ramps at the Bluelick Road interchange and on the bridges over Sugar Creek. Lane restrictions will be in place each week from Monday morning to Friday afternoon. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction on weekends. Work will continue through early October. Variable speed limit signs will be in place to display the legal, posted speed limit through the work zone. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.

U.S. 30 eastbound at the state Route 696 interchange, Beaverdam, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.

State Route 66 between Kolter Road and Deep Cut Road, just south of the village of Spencerville, closed Wednesday, July 17, for approximately 60 days for the replacement of eight culverts. Traffic is detoured onto state Route 117, state Route 116 and state Route 197 back to state Route 66. Work is being performed by Vernon Nagel, Inc., Napoleon. (see map)

State Route 103 (Jefferson Street) over Riley Creek, between Huber Street and Vance Street within the village of Bluffton, closed Monday, July 1, for approximately four months for a bridge replacement. The closure is located within a larger active work zone for a village water line replacement project, which is already underway between county Road 15 (County Line Road) and Main Street. Local access is maintained throughout the village’s work zone, but traffic is unable to cross the bridge during the ODOT bridge replacement project. Traffic is detoured onto county Road 15 (County Line Road) and Main Street back to Jefferson Street. The bridge replacement project is being performed by Eagle Bridge Company, Sidney.

State Route 117 between Eastown Road and the village of Spencerville will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage.

State Route 117 between Bowman Road in Allen County and the Hardin County line in Auglaize County, excluding the community of Westminster, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement resurfacing beginning Monday, Sept. 9. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.

State Route 117/state Route 309 (Bellefontaine Avenue) between Elm Street and Shawnee Street, within the city of Lima, will close Tuesday, Sept. 3, for approximately one week for work related to a railroad grade separation project under the Indiana & Ohio Railroad. Traffic will be detoured onto Interstate 75, Fourth Street, St. Johns Avenue and Pine Street back to state Route 309/state Route 117 (Elm Street). Work is being performed by Eagle Bridge, Sidney, for the city of Lima. For project information, visit www.golima.org.

Seventh Street over Flat Fork Creek, between Moening Street and state Route 190 (Fort Jennings Road) within the city of Delphos, closed Aug. 12 for approximately two months for a bridge replacement. Traffic is detoured onto Moening Street, Sixth Street, and state Route 190 (Fort Jennings Road) back to Seventh Street. Work is being administered by the Ohio Department of Transportation on behalf of the city of Delphos. Work is being performed by The Eclipse Company, Chagrin Falls.

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

SR 67 between Plum and Benton Street, ROAD CLOSURE August 26th – 30th. The official detour is: US 33 to I-75 to SR 67.

SR 65 between River Road and Sellers Road, BRIDGE CLOSURE August 12th – September 2nd. The official detour is: SR 65 to SR 67 to I-75 to SR 65.

SR 198 between Zerkle Road and Deepcut Road, BRIDGE CLOSURE August 5th – September 18 The official detour is: SR 198 to SR 501 to SR 117 to SR 198.

SR 66 between East First Street and East Second Street, ROAD CLOSURE September 3rd – 10th. The official detour is: SR 705 to SR 364 to SR 119.

HANCOCK COUNTY

Interstate 75 northbound entrance and exit ramps at county Road 99, Findlay, will be minimally affected by an erosion repair project along the ramps. Exit and entrance ramp lanes may be shifted and narrowed slightly around the work zone. Work is being performed by Miller Contracting Group, Inc., Ottoville.

U.S. 30 between state Route 235 and U.S. 68 will be restricted to one lane in each direction through the work zone for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hancock County maintenance garage.

State Route 15 eastbound between the city of Findlay and the Wyandot County line will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hancock County maintenance garage.

U.S. 68 between the Hardin County line and U.S. 30, north of the village of Dunkirk, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hancock County maintenance garage.

HARDIN COUNTY

State Route 53 between the city of Kenton and the village of Patterson will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement crack sealing. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hardin County maintenance garage.

State Route 67 between county Road 115 and township Road 135, southwest of the city of Kenton, will close Monday, Sept. 9, for approximately four days for a culvert replacement. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 309 and state Route 235 back to state Route 67. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hardin County maintenance garage. (see map)

State Route 81 between the western village limits of Ada and township Road 55, within the village of Ada, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs being done in preparation for pavement resurfacing. The project also includes installation of curb ramps and concrete sidewalks within the village of Ada. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.

State Route 235 between the northern village limits of Ada and state Route 309 will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs being done in preparation for pavement resurfacing. The project also includes installation of curb ramps and concrete sidewalks within the village of Ada. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.

State Route 701 between state Route 309 and county Road 75 is now open following two bridge replacements.

State Route 701 between state Route 309 and U.S. 68 will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs being done in preparation for pavement resurfacing. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.

PUTNAM COUNTY

The following routes in Putnam County will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for berm repair. Work is being performed by the ODOT Putnam County maintenance garage.

State Route 66 between U.S. 224 and the Paulding County line

State Route 109 between the village of Ottawa and state Route 613

State Route 115 between the village of Kalida and state Route 15

State Route 696 between the Allen County line and state Route 12

State Route 108 between Vanbuskirk Street and Railroad Avenue, within the village of Miller City, will close Tuesday, Sept. 3, for approximately nine days for railroad crossing repairs. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 613, state Route 109, and state Route 18 back to state Route 108. Work is being performed by Safety Services Supply. (see map)

VAN WERT COUNTY

State Route 49 between U.S. 224 and township Road 96, north of the village of Wren, is now open following a culvert replacement.

State Route 49 between Wolfcale Road and Monmouth Road, south of the village of Convoy, will close Monday, Sept. 16, for approximately five days for the replacement of two culverts. Traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 30 and U.S. 224 back to state Route 49. Work is being performed by the ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage. (see map)
