LIMA — A Lima man has been indicted by an Allen County grand jury on 17 counts of rape and other sex-related charges.
Frank Alexander, 51, of Lima, pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Thursday in Allen County Common Pleas Court to 10 counts of rape, first-degree felonies; six counts of sexual battery, second-and third-degree felonies; and one count of gross sexual imposition, a felony of the third degree.
In all 10 rape charges, the indictment against Alexander states the alleged victims were under the age of 13 when the incidents took place. Two of the rape indictments state the victim was less than 10 years of age at the time of the alleged incidents.
The dates listed on the indictment allege the acts took place between the years of 2012 through January of this year.
Alexander is being represented by court-appointed defense attorney Carroll Creighton.
