LIMA — A new space for aspiring entrepreneurs, technology startups and small businesses is coming to Central Avenue in 2020.
The Walter C. Potts Entrepreneur and Incubator Technology Center on Tuesday announced that it will be moving to 207 Central Ave. next summer.
“This new site will not only house the Walter C. Potts Center,” said interim director Jerome O’Neal. “It will also bring to life offices for local entrepreneurs (and) emerging technology companies.”
O’Neal said the incubation and technology center will feature “state-of-the-art” technology, with work expected to begin at the site later this month. He expects the new offices to open by the summer of 2020.
“This new location provides us an opportunity to have better tools and resources available for entrepreneurs,” said Jed Metzger, president and CEO of the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce, which collaborates with the Potts Center.
