LIMA — Antenna users will need to rescan their TVs when WOHL moves to a new broadcast channel on Monday, Aug. 5.
The rescan will affect Lima’s ABC and CBS stations, which will display as 35.1 (ABC) and 35.2 (CBS) for antenna viewers starting next week. Dish and cable customers should see no change.
“At 6:55 a.m., we’ll turn off the transmitter at our Rice Avenue location for the last time,” said Frederick Vobbe, chief engineer and vice president of WLIO/WOHL, in a press release. “Future transmissions will be from the new tower, located on St. Clair Street in northwest Lima.”
WLIO/WOHL says some antenna users may need to reorient their antenna toward the new location.
