OTTAWA — A Leipsic man charged with robbing three people at gunpoint early Saturday morning appeared in Putnam County Common Pleas Court Thursday for a preliminary hearing.

Isaiah Oliver, 18, appeared before Common Pleas Court Judge Keith Schierloh and pleaded not guilty to three counts, including aggravated robbery with a gun specification, theft (fifth-degree felony) and possession of criminal tools (fifth-degree felony).

A pretrial will be at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 22 in Common Pleas Court. Oliver previously appeared in Putnam County Municipal Court before Judge Chad Niese on Tuesday for an initial hearing, where bond was set at $250,000.

During Thursday’s hearing, Prosecutor Gary Lammers recommended continuing the bond at $250,000.
